Glow In the Dark Spider Web Earrings and a Giveaway
Guess what? I’m a video brand ambassador for AdTech! I know what you’re thinking; what does this mean and who is AdTech? What it means is I’ll be sharing more glue gun projects and hosting a number of Hangouts On Air where I’ll be crafting live! As for AdTech they are THE glue gun people: hot glue, cool glue, foam glue, low temp/high temp, designer guns, you name it, they’ve got it in spades! But that’s not all, they also offer spiffy dot glue runners!
I’ve been playing (mostly coveting) the goodies they sent, thinking of all the projects I want to share and when I spied the Glow In The Dark sticks I knew I wanted to make some kind of jewelry with them. Since Halloween is right around the corner why not a set of spider web earrings?

Supplies
First things first, make the spider webs. I printing off a clip art image as a guide and put it under the parchment paper. I’m also using an old cookie sheet as a work surface to protect the table. Once you have everything set up trace your spider webs or draw them freehand with your glue gun. Be careful not to burn yourself!
I want to point out the tip on the Project Pro gun, you can tell from the photo it is perfect for this kind of work.
Once the glue has dried simply peel them off.
Use the pliers to connect your web to your earring hook with a jump ring and viola! Don’t forget, this is a spider web so if you have a lot of glue strings it’s OKAY!
Es is always wanting dangly earrings but they’re usually too heavy for her little ears, these on the other hand are super light and the fact that they glow in the dark is an added bonus!
GIVEAWAY TIME: To kick off this year-long campaign, Angie over at The Country Chic Cottage is hosting a giveaway featuring the very gun I used for this project as well as a pack of glue sticks to get you started! Be sure to enter below!
