Valentine’s Day Treats: 12 Fruit Desserts

To know me is to know my love for rich, overly sweet, completely delectable desserts. When you go out to eat with friends maybe you say things like, “I just can’t eat another bite of this {insert crazy awesome dessert here}.” I, on the other hand, have not only finished my piece of {insert crazy awesome dessert here} but I’m eyeing yours as well.

Still, after the holidays and all that buttery baking, my body screams for fruit, plus I’m good at convincing myself it’s better for me than dipping a chocolate bar in the peanut butter. So here are a dozen fruity desserts to make this Valentine’s Day (or any day really). Oh, and I lied, a couple don’t have fruit, but we can pretend they do, right?

No Bake Strawberry Cheesecake via Simply Stacie. Because you fruit makes cheesecake good for you! I swear.

Chocolate Cheesecake Mousse Cups with a Sweet Berry Compote from Barbara Bakes. Okay, these are just too pretty and I like the idea of saying I made a compote.

Okay, so these don’t officially require berries but they look so beautiful I want them! Love Heart Meringues from In the Playroom

You know I love an easy dessert like these Chocolate Raspberry Ho-Ho Trifles from Upstate Ramblings

Anybody want to make me breakfast in bed? I want these Strawberries and Cream Crepes with Chocolate Sauce from Hello Little Home.

It’s just not Valentine’s Day unless you have Gourmet Chocolate Covered Strawberries like these from Tastes Better From Scratch.

These mixes are always the death of me…they should last for at least a week but in our house they barely stick around for a day! Strawberry Flavored “Puppy Chow” Treat Mix from Midget Momma.

I admit it, I’m a frosting snob, the thought of buying a can of the stuff turns me off completely BUT then she said Cranberry White Chocolate Fudge. She being Janel from A Mom’s Take.

I did it again, another dessert that doesn’t require berries! I don’t care if they’re not trending anymore, I’m a sucker for a Valentine's Day Macaron and This Mama Loves makes hers in a way I haven’t tried yet.

My hat’s off to anyone who makes Homemade Chocolate Covered Cherries that look as good as these from MamaBzz.
